role allows you to feel personally fulfilled as you make a difference in our community and the lives of others.
CNA positions are perfect for those looking for a career change as no prior medical education is necessary.
You’ll enjoy a stable career because CNAs will always play an important role in providing quality healthcare
to our residents and tenants. If you’re thinking about a health care career down the road, it’s the perfect
way to get your foot in the door. Gain hands-on experience in care working alongside nurses and other professionals
who are passionate about creating a positive impact. No college degree is required.
What Does a CNA Do?
CNAs are essential in nearly every health care setting. They typically work directly with residents and tenants
to ensure their comfort and help improve the quality of their life. Tasks may include:
Assist with daily needs
Bathe and dress residents
Repositioning/transferring
Feed residents
Answering call lights
Serve as a liaison between the resident/tenant and charge nurse
Sioux Center Health can help you in obtaining your CNA certification, including prepayment of the course for
a candidate who has been selected to join our team.
