Chief Nursing Officer - Nursing Administration

Working in partnership with Sioux Center Health's leadership team and medical staff, the Chief Nursing Officer provides leadership in the development and measurement of Sioux Center Health's approach to quality/performance improvement and best practices in nursing and patient care departments. This position initiates and oversees the development of a comprehensive quality/performance improvement program throughout the continuum of care and is responsible for directing, planning, and administering all business functions and activities in the nursing services departments consistent with State standards. The Chief Nursing Officer also directs, plans and administers the hospital nursing departments in alignment with strategic plan. In collaboration with clinical and medical staff, he/she participates in the development, monitoring, reporting, and improvement of activities related to best practices. This position fosters and maintains collaborative relationships with external agencies, purchasers, and stakeholders related to quality/performance initiatives.
